The Bohnenkamp SE intends, by year-end, to acquire all shares of the French wholesale company SAS Copadex. A corresponding agreement has been signed by Gregor Rüth, Chairman of the Bohnenkamp SE, and Bruno Clairay, owner and managing director of Copadex.

Copadex, based in Châlette-sur-Loing, about 100 kilometers south of Paris, has been

operating in the French market since 1980. The company supplies customers in the agricultural and commercial sectors with tires and wheels and employs around 80 employees. The warehouse space covers about 30,000 square meters.

The Bohnenkamp SE, headquartered in Osnabrück, was founded 75 years ago and counts among the leading European wholesalers

for tires and wheels in the off-highway and transport segment. With the planned acquisition, the company is expanding its activities to the French market. Chairman Gregor Rüth described Copadex as “a well-established company with an experienced, dedicated team” that possesses extensive market knowledge. Bohnenkamp intends to use this basis for joint growth.

For owner and managing director Bruno Clairay, the future of the company was at the forefront of the succession arrangement. He emphasized that Copadex would continue to be independently integrated into the Bohnenkamp Group and that he would continue to accompany the company in his role as managing director in the future.
