The Swedish manufacturer CTEK expands its range of battery chargers with the new NXT series. The NXT 5 and NXT 15 models are said by the company to combine a weatherproof design with intelligent electronics and enhanced protective features. The series is aimed at both private users as well as workshops and specialist trades.
The
new chargers are designed for use under various environmental conditions. According to CTEK, automatic temperature compensation ensures stable charging results in cold and hot conditions. The IP65/44-certified housing protects against dust, water spray and moisture.
Both models operate fully automatically, are spark-free and reverse-polarity protected. The smaller NXT 5 offers a charging current of 5
amperes and is suitable for 12-volt batteries with capacities from 1.2 to 110 Ah. It is designed for various battery types such as AGM, EFB or lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) and costs, according to the manufacturer, €114.90.
The larger NXT 15 delivers 15 A and is aimed at users of motor homes, boats or commercial
vehicles. It supports batteries with capacities from 20 to 350 Ah and features a power-supply mode with a constant 13.6 V output voltage. The price is €249.00. The NXT 5 is available now; the NXT 15 is set to go on sale from December 1, 2025. Both devices come with a five-year warranty. (Source: CTEK)
