Autodoc SE has expanded its digital marketplace to Germany and Austria. Following previous launches in France, Southern Europe, and the Benelux countries, the platform is now also being made available in its home market and in Austria. The aim is to broaden the product selection and enable third-party providers to access the company's e-commerce infrastructure directly.

Customers are expected to benefit from a greater variety of items, improved availability, competitive prices, and faster delivery times. The offering includes, in addition to classic vehicle replacement parts, new categories such as vehicle electronics, accessories, lifestyle items, and safety products. Integration takes place via the existing Autodoc website and app.

"Expanding the Autodoc Marketplace to our home market, Germany, and neighboring Austria is a logical step," said Autodoc CEO Dmitry Zadorozhny. "The marketplace complements our B2C and B2B platforms, expands our offering beyond classic replacement parts, creates visibility for local dealers, and provides additional value for customers and dealers in key markets."

The technical implementation of the marketplace

is based on a solution from technology provider Mirakl. This is intended to ensure a powerful connection for dealers and the scalability of the platform.

Marketplace is a third area alongside B2C and B2B business

The company positions the marketplace as an additional pillar alongside its existing B2C and B2B business. While Autodoc remains responsible for shipping, invoicing, and customer service for its own products, third-party suppliers independently take over these processes. To ensure a consistent user experience, defined performance metrics, and service agreements apply to all dealers. According to the company, the platform is actively monitored. Autodoc reserves the right to intervene when quality standards are violated.

According to Autodoc, the marketplace is part of a multi-stage growth model and complements the existing B2C and B2B platforms. The platform is specifically targeted at an automotive-affine audience. Dealers have the opportunity to offer their products directly via the Autodoc website and app. They are expected to benefit from target group-specific visibility that differentiates from general

online marketplaces.

Autodoc's B2B business grows strongly

The introduction of the marketplace comes against the backdrop of a positive start to the year. In the first quarter of 2025, the group's revenue increased by 21.2 percent to €427.3 million (Q1 2024: €352.5 million). Adjusted EBITDA rose by 18.9 percent over the same period to €33.9 million. The company also recorded double-digit growth in the number of orders (+17.5 percent to 4.7 million) and products sold (+13.8 percent to 18.1 million items). The number of active customers also rose by 13.2 percent to 8.6 million.

Particularly noteworthy is the increase in the B2B segment: Revenue in the "AUTODOC PRO" business area was €30.5 million, an increase of around 173 percent compared to the previous year. Consequently, the B2B share of total revenue increased from 3.2 percent to 7.1 percent. This growth is attributed, among other things, to the full market introduction of "AUTODOC PRO" in France and the launch in the Netherlands in May 2024. In

France, over 18,000 workshops in 106 regions were connected by the end of the first quarter.

In the end-customer business (B2C), revenue for the reporting period amounted to €396.9 million—a 16.3 percent increase. Thus, the B2C segment remains the main revenue driver for the company with a share of over 90 percent.

Strategic outlook at Autodoc

According to the company, further investments are planned for the current fiscal year—in particular in expanding the range of products, improving pricing, automating processes, and optimizing order processing. Digitalization is expected to advance further through data-driven solutions. In addition to expanding the marketplace, new initiatives in the B2B sector are also planned.

Autodoc operates online shops in 27 European countries. At the end of 2024, the range included 6.7 million item numbers from around 2,500 brands. The company employs around 5,000 people across 13 locations, including Germany, France, Belgium, Poland, the Netherlands, and Italy. In the 2024 fiscal year, it achieved a turnover of €1.6 billion (2023: €1.3 billion).
