Global One Automotive, the international cooperation comprising 17 parts wholesalers, awarded the North Rhine-Westphalian spare parts supplier Bilstein Group for its logistics and service performance on June 26, 2025. The award was presented in the context of discussions about continued collaboration. Its logistics center in Gelsenkirchen was particularly recognized. For the family-run company, this marks the second award from the dealers' cooperation. As early as 2023, the Bilstein Group had impressed in the "Best Performance" category.

The Bilstein Group, with its 23 international subsidiaries, is among the leading parts suppliers in the independent aftermarket. The partner of several OE suppliers, founded over 150 years ago, specializes with its Febi brand in technical wear parts for passenger and commercial vehicles. In addition, under the Swag label, a selection of the most commonly used spare parts can be found,

and BluePrint covers, among others, the parts needs for Asian vehicles. The company manufactures some of its products in original equipment quality itself – on the 10,000 square meter factory site, technical components for other industries are also produced. The area of further education is also nurtured: the wealth of knowledge that the renowned company has accumulated is imparted by its own Bilstein Academy.

Worldwide Supply

The Bilstein Group's portfolio includes around 80,000 different spare parts. An amount that requires good organization. The company only opened its second large logistics center in Germany in 2022. With the other 12 existing warehouse locations, this results in a total warehouse area of 145,000 square meters. The logistics are distributed all over the world: China, France, Italy, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Singapore, Turkey, and England are supplied with products. And the

plans are ambitious: According to their own statements, they aim to optimize supply in the coming years through a virtual logistics hub that connects all global locations.

The award for logistics and service performance was accepted by the Managing Director of the Bilstein Group, Karsten Schüßler Bilstein, on behalf of the entire company. Ingo Reiff and Kai Ballsieper, Managing Director of the international trading cooperation, congratulated them.

"We appreciate the special approach of Global One Automotive, where the award is not presented at an event but during a visit on-site,"

said Schüßler-Bilstein. The location is particularly suitable for this occasion, as it offers a particularly good opportunity to initiate joint planning in the appropriate setting. He continued:

"The award is a great confirmation for us that ideas and efforts are indeed reaching our customers and being recognized."

With the award in logistics and service excellence, the spare parts specialist is honored with top positions in two out of five categories. In the network of major cooperations, participating companies have the opportunity to advance their business and create synergies, which Bilstein cites as the advantage of partnering with Global One Automotive. "They also promote the implementation of progressive topics such as digitization and sustainability." Global One Automotive unites 17 partners and is currently active, according to their information, in 22 countries in Europe and the American continent. Bilstein itself delivers its spare parts to 170 countries.

The international IAM wholesaler network Global One Automotive was founded in 2016 by the Osnabrück-based parts wholesaler WM SE and the US counterpart SSF Imported Auto Parts. Currently, the cooperation, headquartered in Bad Homburg, consists of 17 parts wholesalers.
