The braking systems specialist Knorr-Bremse has announced the acquisition of TRAVIS Road Services International B.V. The Dutch company operates an online booking platform for services around commercial vehicles – including parking, washing, charging and repair. The purchase price is in the mid double-digit million-euro range. The closing of the transaction is expected by the end

of the first quarter of 2026.

With the acquisition, Knorr-Bremse aims to expand its digital aftermarket offering and strengthen its position in the field of data-driven services. Since 2022, the company has held a majority stake in Cojali S.L., a Spanish provider of vehicle diagnostic systems. Together with TRAVIS, Knorr-Bremse intends to further develop digital

offerings to support workshops and fleet operators.

TRAVIS brings a network of over 2,500 service partners in 26 European countries into the group. Through the platform, transport and logistics companies can search for, book, and centrally bill for various services for commercial vehicles. The integration into Knorr-Bremse's existing portfolio is intended to form the basis

for integrated service offerings.

Jochem de Graaf, CEO of TRAVIS, sees in the acquisition the opportunity to further expand its offering under the umbrella of an established industrial company. At the same time, Knorr-Bremse emphasizes the strategic importance of the acquisition with regard to the long-term alignment toward a comprehensive, digitally connected aftermarket ecosystem. (Source:
