Anniversary of a specialized publisher with vision: 50 years ago, HUSS-VERLAG began in a Munich old apartment – Today, it is one of the leading, medium-sized B2B media houses in the German-speaking region for logistics, transport, and mobility with digital formats as well as renowned trade magazines and industry events.

On April 1, 1975, the success story of HUSS-VERLAG began in an old apartment at Friedrichstraße 17 in Munich. Company founder Wolfgang Huss laid the foundation for today's established media company with only two employees and his wife Karin. In cooperation with the traffic publisher Jakob Fischer, the publishing house started with the book project "How far from Munich" – followed by other specialist books

related to mobility and environmental law.

Just a few months after its founding, the publisher presented itself at the IAA in Frankfurt for the first time in September 1975 – right next to industry giants such as Daimler-Benz and MAN. In the following years, the company grew continuously. In 1986, the move was made to its own publishing building with a printing house at the current location at Joseph-Dollinger-Bogen in Munich.

Today, HUSS-VERLAG employs around 75 permanent employees and is a well-known provider of information for professionals and executives in the fields of logistics, transport, automotive, tourism, and passenger transport. Among the well-known trade publications are LOGISTIK HEUTE, LOGISTRA, Technische Logistik, taxi heute, busplaner, VISION

mobility, Unterwegs auf der Autobahn, PROFI Werkstatt, and the newspaper Transport.

In addition to print formats, digital content and event formats play a central role in the company strategy.

Additionally, HUSS-VERLAG awards numerous prestigious industry prizes, including the European Transport Award for Sustainability, the BESTE PROFI WERKSTATT-MARKE, the International busplaner Sustainability Award, the Award BEST OF mobility, and the Supply Chain Management Award. The websites of the trade magazines have also developed into sought-after information platforms for industry decision-makers.

"With pride, we can look back on 50 years of expertise in the taxi and bus industry as well as our beloved logistics. Unfortunately, my father passed away this January at the age of 84 and

was not able to experience the 50th anniversary of his life's work,"

said Christoph Huss, managing partner of HUSS VERLAG GmbH.

Within the HUSS group of companies, with headquarters in Munich and Berlin, HUSS-VERLAG is a central component. The portfolio is complemented by sister companies HUSS-MEDIEN GmbH in Berlin, focusing on electrical crafts and building technology, as well as EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, which, among other things, organizes LogiMAT – one of the world's leading intralogistics trade fairs.

Today, HUSS-VERLAG is led by Christoph Huss and Rainer Langhammer – and celebrates not only half a century of company history in 2025 but also its role as an innovative and reliable partner for professional information in
