The Monroe brand, which belongs to the DRiV corporate group, has introduced a new range of air springs for commercial vehicles. The “Magnum” range is characterized by a series of technical changes, designed to enhance vehicle safety and productivity.

The new air springs are compatible with trucks, buses and other vehicle types from Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, DAF, Renault Trucks, MAN, Volvo and other vehicle manufacturers. Monroe's engineers are said to have implemented several improvements in spring design and construction that contribute to optimized performance and durability in use. These include:
- Bellows,
- made from rubber materials intended for longer life should withstand ozone, dirt and harsh conditions
- New bumper design, which according to the manufacturer withstands a force of up to 89 kilonewtons (kN) without tearing or breaking.
- Depending on the application, Monroe's Magnum air springs feature either sturdy steel pistons or lightweight plastic pistons, with a corrosion-protection coating.
The new Magnum range from Monroe includes coiled air springs, which
are suitable for the axle-lift function in multi-axle vehicles as well as for the pneumatic lifting function and vibration isolation in industrial environments. Also rollover air springs, which provide improved lateral stability and thus facilitate control of the vehicle in curves and under uneven loading.
