TLE Transport and Logistics, based in Sierning, Upper Austria, uses rental vehicles from Scania Rent to meet short-term spikes in demand. The company, which has been led since the end of 2020 by Patrick Ecker and Bianca Jungwirth, specializes in the transportation of perishable goods to and from Italy.
Rental solutions for the fleet
Scania Rent states, according to a press release, that tractor units as well as chassis with various body
configurations are available. The vehicles can be rented for short or longer periods. Customers pay, according to Scania, only for the vehicles they actually use, thereby avoiding long-term capital commitments.
Comprehensive services
Included in the service scope are repairs, maintenance, breakdown assistance, tire service, toll invoicing, insurance and taxes. In addition, telematics solutions via Scania Fleet Management can be used to generate vehicle or fleet reports and to support dispatch planning.
Integration
into existing fleets
Scania Rent vehicles are available immediately and can be integrated directly into existing fleets. After the rental period ends, there is the option to take over the vehicles. Financing is provided via Scania Leasing.
"The customer gains access to a modern and versatile vehicle pool with Scania Rent — all without long-term capital binding," says Anton Freudensprung, Country Manager Scania Leasing Austria. "In addition, he benefits from all other
advantages, such as personal consultation, low fuel consumption, an extensive service network and high parts availability," says Freudensprung.
Workshop and service network
Scania points to a nationwide network of workshops and a high availability of spare parts to reduce downtime. For TLE Transport and Logistics, the Scania branch in Haid, Upper Austria, is the next service partner. There, according to the company, there are personal contacts available for consultation and support. (av)
