With the semi-automatic stretch wrapper “QL-400XT”, Lantech offers an efficient packaging solution for professional load securing on pallets. Compared to conventional machines, each wrapping operation is shortened by two minutes, because the film is automatically attached to the pallet and after wrapping is cut by the standard “XT Cut&Clamp” function. This was announced by the manufacturer of end-of-line packaging machines ahead of FACHPACK, which will take place
in Nuremberg from 23 to 25 September.
The stretch wrapper “QL-400XT” processes up to 35 loads per hour with a maximum diagonal of 1,830 millimeters and a maximum height of 2,030 millimeters. The processed film can be stretched up to 300 percent. Load Guardian, Pallet Grip and XT Cut and Clamp, all of which are part of the standard equipment of the QL400XT, are demonstrated at Lantech’s
stand.
Also on display at the fair is the carton erector “C1000”, which produces up to 30 cartons per minute with flexible dimensions from 200 by 150 by 150 millimeters to 500 by 325 by 520 millimeters. According to Lantech, the user reliably receives rectangular shipping cartons that offer high stability and are ideal for transport.
The carton erector “C1000” maintains the 90-degree angle regardless of the
quality of the corrugated board, changing temperatures and humidity levels, as well as of different die-cuts and dimensions. The cut is controlled from the entry into the magazine to its exit as a finished carton with a closed bottom. Depending on customer requirements, the carton bottom is sealed with hot glue or adhesive tape. The various dimensional options are demonstrated at the trade fair.
