Kögel Trailer GmbH has formed a partnership with the American brake cylinder manufacturer TSE Brakes. The aim is to further expand the spare parts offering and to establish a broad presence in the field of quality components.
Expanded Portfolio
Kögel customers now have the option, in addition to the existing
brands, to rely on the products from TSE Brakes. The TSE brake cylinders are developed in the United States.
Before their delivery, they undergo a quality check at the Mörfelden-Walldorf site, according to the information. Up to 80,000 brake cylinders are ready there for use.
“We are pleased that Kögel
has included us in its portfolio,” said Patrick Schmitt, Managing Director of TSE Brakes GmbH. He adds: “We are convinced that this cooperation has great potential and is a win for both sides.”
Long-Term Cooperation
According to TSE Brakes, they particularly focus on corrosion protection – this is intended to
contribute to a long service life of the components.
According to Alexander Seeber, Head of After Market at Kögel, the aftermarket range should be complemented by high-performance products through the cooperation.
The TSE brake cylinders can be obtained through Kögel's online parts shop. The partnership is said to be long-term.
