Geodis announced the launch of "GEODIS AirSmart" at the transport logistic 2025 trade fair in Munich on June 2nd, a new low-carbon solution designed to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with air freight through performance optimization.
By selecting the most energy-efficient aircraft and
optimizing routes, GEODIS AirSmart significantly reduces GHG emissions according to the company. Using external flight data and advanced analytics tools, the solution allows for smarter route decisions while enhancing performance, according to the logistics provider.
This innovation marks a new step in Geodis' journey
towards decarbonization and supporting its customers in achieving their climate goals, it was further stated.
