Jungheinrich acquires through its subsidiary Storage Solutions the American company Invar, a specialist in warehouse and order fulfillment solutions. The acquisition is a strategic step to expand Jungheinrich's global presence and strengthens the group's automation competence in the important US market, according to a statement by the intralogistics provider on November 4.

Invar, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is a U.S. system integrator and software specialist for warehouse automation. Since its founding in 2007, the company

has evolved into a provider of automated solutions that combines consulting, design, simulation, project execution, and comprehensive customer service with its standalone Warehouse Execution System (WES). The Invar team comprises 50 experts.

The combined expertise of both companies is intended to enable the efficient and scalable deployment of automation solutions. With a focus on mobile ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), Storage Solutions positions itself in North America, according to Jungheinrich, as one of the

leading integrators in this segment.

The acquisition of Invar is part of Jungheinrich's "Strategy 2030+" implementation, which provides for targeted investments in automation solutions and the expansion of the North American business.

“Automation is among the fastest-growing areas in intralogistics – and mobile ASRS solutions are at the forefront of this development,” said Dr. Lars Brzoska, chairman of Jungheinrich's management board.

The acquisition of Invar is therefore a significant strategic step to strengthen their US

automation platform and an excellent example of how their US subsidiary Storage Solutions is successfully bringing its Strategy 2030+ to life.

“We are very much looking forward to collaborating with Storage Solutions and Jungheinrich,” added Ken Matson, President of Invar. “Our combined expertise, our united capabilities, and our shared commitment to quality, innovation, and customer focus will enable us to drive innovations forward with purpose and provide our existing as well as future customers with
