The Austrian Post AG is expanding Sunday delivery to the Upper Austrian capital Linz after starting it in Vienna. According to the logistics service provider's announcement, packages will be delivered by the
post in Linz on Sundays for the first time starting June 29. The start in Graz is also expected soon.
The post office has always worked on Sundays, mainly in logistics centers
or transport logistics in the past. With additional own personnel in Sunday delivery, the post will also be visible on the streets on Sundays, it said.
According to Austrian Post, Sunday delivery
is a new service offering for shipping customers who are willing to pay a corresponding surcharge for delivery on Sundays. All other packages will be delivered as usual from Monday to Saturday.
