Metz Consumer Electronics GmbH is relocating to a new site in Nuremberg. The company has leased a commercial property of approximately 11,600 square meters on Sigmundstraße 189 on a long-term basis. The landlord is the Berlin-based project developer and asset manager Inbright. According to the company's press release dated August 5, 2025, the lease agreement will run for more than 15 years. With the signing of the contract, the property is fully leased.
The property was acquired in 2023 together with project partner Convalor. It is part of Inbright’s nationwide "Transform-to-Green" strategy, where existing properties are modernized energetically
and functionally based on clear ESG criteria.
Metz is a German company with more than 85 years of experience in the development and production of televisions in the premium segment. Since 2023, the company has also offered photovoltaic solutions. The newly leased spaces are to be used as a central location for development, production, customer service, and administration. All jobs will be retained.

Inbright plans comprehensive energy measures at the site. The goal is to reduce CO₂ emissions in the long term. Planned measures include roof and window renovation, a new heating solution, and a photovoltaic system. According to calculations, the CO₂ emissions are to be reduced by up to 62.43 kilograms per square meter per year. Green lease clauses are to ensure that the sustainability goals are met during the leasing period. Additionally, Inbright is aiming for BREEAM certification for the building.
