The RK Rose+Krieger GmbH, a provider of components and solutions for industrial production and automation technology, presented a transport cart made from profile technology components called "RK Easy CUVE" at the CONFERENCE DAYS 2025 of the HUSS-VERLAG on May 12. This cart is designed for free movement and precise positioning of a robot between different locations.
Equipped with a sensor board, the transport cart controls a sensory counterpart with which the target station is equipped. Positioning no longer has to be done mechanically or optically using sensor and camera technology. With the sensor board, this occurs regardless of changing lighting conditions,
dirt, or dust.
The "RK Easy CUVE" can be used in various scenarios in production facilities or at workplaces in assembly lines without having to reteach positions each time.
"This allows us to envision mobile robotic solutions in the field of automation systems," said Andreas Kebbel, Head/Director Business Unit, Integrated Assembly Solutions of RK Rose+Krieger.
This offers a user company the possibility to switch between different application scenarios with a cobot. The "RK Easy CUVE" can, for example, be used to supply automatic or semi-automatic stations.
"With the help of the transport cart, components in the area of transfer conveyor technology
could be introduced into or removed from a continuous process," Kebbel explained.
In the area of workplace systems, it is conceivable that the cobot system holds certain components, with the cobot acting as a third hand. Or the system is used as a feeder to quality control systems. Additionally, according to the Business Unit Director, there is the possibility to use the "RK Easy CUVE" for loading a processing machine with components and for removing them.
RK Rose+Krieger had first presented the transport cart for robots at LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart. And the "RK Easy CUVE" will also be on display
at the robotics fair automatica in Munich, held from June 24 to 25, 2025.
The CONFERENCE DAYS, taking place from May 12 to 15, 2025, are a B2B specialist event for the logistics & intralogistics industry as well as the truck & bus and automotive & taxi sectors. The focus of the free, purely digital event is on the dissemination of knowledge on current, industry-relevant, and future-oriented topics through numerous digital live sessions. In addition, visitors and conference partners can engage in networking. Further information about the program and the possibility to register for free participation can be found here: https://conference-days.de/
