CB Customs Broker, a specialist in digital e-commerce customs clearance, and air cargo handling expert LUG Aircargo handling GmbH announced their new collaboration at Frankfurt Airport on June 2nd during the logistics trade fair transport logistic 2025 in Munich. The goal is faster and more efficient processing of international e-commerce shipments, according to the two cooperation partners.
Automated E-Commerce Customs Clearance
The core of the cooperation, according to a press release, is a specially designated 6,000 square meter storage
area in the LUG terminal in CargoCity South. On this area, the customs clearance software developed by CB Customs Broker, including specially configured scanners, is deployed. The technology automates customs processing at the parcel level, transmits all required data digitally to the authorities, and simultaneously manages sorting and handling on-site. The system meets all regulatory requirements and can process hundreds of thousands of shipments daily, according to the provider.
