At the Fachpack 2025 (September 23 to 25 in Nuremberg), the container specialist Bito-Lagertechnik presents innovations for the packaging and logistics sector. As announced by the company based in Meisenheim prior to the performance show, the focus of the trade fair appearance will be on solutions that contribute to the upcoming PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation).

Since autumn 2024, Bito-Lagertechnik claims that the entire "BITO RK" shelf box

series is produced 100 percent from post-consumer recycled material, the recycling material "BITO Certified Compound BIC2." Robust and color-stable, the series already meets the requirements of the PPWR and is suitable for both manual and automated processes.

The quiet-running container series "XL-Motion" is now complemented by the new "ECOMOTION" models with "easy-to-divide" quick-change dividers, which also consist 100 percent of the Bito post-consumer recycled material.

Stackable within each other

In addition, the company presents the stackable reusable container series "BITO MB" with additional grip strips on both long sides. According to the provider, the three most common container sizes in this series are also made from recycled material and are certified with the "Blue Angel" environmental label as "MB Eco."

The new format of the rotating stack container series "BITO U-Turn" celebrates its trade fair premiere: The solution

will be available in the dimensions of 600 by 400 by 220 millimeters from autumn 2025.

Transparency in material flow

With "IOB – Internet of Bins & Containers," BITO-Lagertechnik aims to increase digital transparency for material flow: Through digital container management, the container status is recorded and monitored in real-time, thus optimizing the entire process in the area of container use, according to the company.
