From September 23 to 25, 2025, FACHPACK in Nuremberg will open its doors – and the PackSynergy group will have its own exhibition presence. According to its own information, the packaging network, which includes 24 European partner companies, will present innovative packaging solutions, sustainable technologies, and customized services along the entire value chain at a 240 square meter joint stand.

In addition to numerous European network partners, the German companies Adrians Papier GmbH, HLS Business Systems GmbH (Huwald Liebschner GmbH), Horna GmbH Verpackungen, Kopp Verpackungen GmbH, Neuhaus Papier GmbH, Papier Liebl GmbH, and Wepa Verpackungen GmbH will be represented with exhibits. Highlights from group suppliers such as Sealed Air and Emba-Protec are also among the solutions presented from the PackSynergy portfolio.

Various Systems in Focus

These include, for example, various systems from Sealed Air under the "AUTOBAG" brand for packaging process automation, such as the compact tabletop solution for smaller series with integrated printing; "PS 125 OneStep," the semi-automatic counting system for high

cycle numbers; "AB500" with Maximizer or the fully automatic feed of the smallest parts supported by a vision system; "AB550 with Detab DG 601". All machines work with recyclable or reusable bags and thus contribute to reduced resource consumption.

From Emba-Protec, PackSynergy showcases two systems under the motto "Maximum Product Protection with Minimal Material Usage". "TrayTec" as an individual, fully automatic tray packaging and "Buzz’n’Pack," which is well-suited for decentralized packaging locations due to its fast packaging at the push of a button.

An example of group-wide collaboration is "PayPerPallet" – the joint solution of all PackSynergy partners for pallet wrapping. At FACHPACK, the system will be demonstrated on a powerful wrapper equipped with modern IoT technology, motorized pre-stretching, and intuitive touchscreen control, according to the network in a press release. The centerpiece is the integrated Stretchmate system for digital recording and cloud-based evaluation of film consumption. Usage-based billing is intended to provide transparency – without initial investments.

Solutions for Specific Product Requirements

Adrians Papier GmbH will present its portfolio of packaging solutions made from paper, cardboard, plastic, corrugated board, and glass at the showcase. The focus will be on individual developments for specific product requirements – from sustainable packaging alternatives to brand-compliant design concepts.

HLS Business Systems GmbH, a subsidiary of Huwald Liebschner GmbH, will present the "FENTEC SCALE CABINET," a self-service solution for automated material supply. The smart cabinet with integrated weighing technology enables real-time inventory monitoring – well-suited for bulk goods and small parts. Withdrawals are automatically recorded and transmitted to the company's own ERP system. With optional RFID integration, variable compartment sizes, and cloud-based control, HLS offers a scalable solution for digitizing complex procurement processes, according to the company.

Horna GmbH Verpackungen presents ergonomic packing table solutions with sustainable technology and load monitoring. These include individually customizable solutions from Ranpak (Rocholz) that aim to reduce physical strain and promote healthy, efficient work in the packaging process. A special trade fair highlight is

the live use of sensor technology to detect physical strain on the back, knees, hips, and shoulders at the packing station. The data obtained is intended to offer concrete approaches for individual ergonomic optimization of workplaces and processes. The ergonomic overall concept is supplemented by paper cushioning machines such as "PadPak Guardian" and "FillPak TT".

Machine for Sustainable Air Cushions

Additionally, Horna showcases other applications such as the semi-automatic gluing machine "BASIC" for changing carton formats, the compact "Flöter Airwave" air cushion machine for sustainable product protection, and the mobile, wireless wet tape dispenser with variable tape length and quick roll change.

Papier Liebl GmbH focuses on the area of personal protective equipment (PPE), offering everything from gloves, knives, masks, hearing protection, glasses to corporate wear for safe working in the packaging environment. The Wepa Group with the companies Wepa Verpackungen GmbH, Kopp Verpackungen GmbH, and Neuhaus Papier GmbH, together with Intercept Technology GmbH, present solutions for corrosion protection and long-term storage.
