Vacuum lifters for every requirement: Timmer GmbH presents at FACHPACK (September 23–25 in Nuremberg) versatile lifting solutions. According to a press release issued in advance, the proven lifting systems “lightLIFT” and “quickLIFT” will be used, equipped with a variety of grippers such as multisuction cups, bag suction cups, or keg suction cups. As the highlight of this year's trade fair appearance, Timmer announced the new pallet fork for the lightLIFT – a custom-developed special solution tailored specifically to the requirements of pallet logistics.

“The demand for customized solutions in intralogistics has noticeably increased,” says Michael Moser, Key Account Manager of Timmer GmbH. “With our new pallet fork, we have specifically responded to this

market development and have already realized several customer-specific variants – precisely aligned with the respective requirements in pallet logistics.” Visitors to the trade fair can see the new accessories in action – as well as the two proven vacuum lifters lightLIFT and quickLIFT. With a wide range of attachments, the lifting solutions can be adapted to individual requirements.

Two systems, a range of possibilities

According to the company, the lightLIFT features a precise two-handed operation that enables safe and controlled positioning of the load. For additional flexibility in daily work, optional extensions such as a 360° turntable, a quick-change system for the suction foot, and a remote control for the vacuum pump are

to be provided. In this way, the system can be optimally adapted to different application areas, it is said. In addition to the new pallet fork, Timmer also demonstrates on the lightLIFT proven grippers for different applications – including the keg suction lifter for beverage barrels, the bag suction lifter for bagged goods, and the round suction lifter for buckets and other flat-lifting goods.

The quickLIFT is suitable for high-speed pick & place processes, according to Timmer, and can be controlled via its intuitive one-handed operation using an ergonomically shaped handle. This enables particularly fast, safe and energy-saving work – ideal for applications with high repetition rates. Optional features such as a 90°

swiveling head or a 360° turntable are intended to increase handling flexibility and facilitate precise positioning of the load. With a load capacity of up to 65 kilograms, the quickLIFT is also suitable for heavy or unwieldy goods. At the trade fair, Timmer demonstrates among other things the Multisauger and the Multisauger Foam for cardboard cartons – also on roughly structured surfaces – as well as keg suction lifters and bag suction lifters for barrels and bags. Other gripper solutions shown include the bellows suction lifter, the small package traverse, a hook adapter for canisters or buckets with handles, and the crate gripper for Euro crates or small load carriers.
