The initiative "Logistics in Motion" is starting its sixth round. Until 30 September 2025, logistics-related companies throughout Germany are called upon to engage in sports activities and thereby raise donations for the Nicolaidis YoungWings Foundation, the initiator Logivest announced in a press release on 30 June. Last year, the sector demonstrated with over 160,000 "earned" kilometers and a donation amount of 70,000 euros what is possible together.

The proceeds, as in previous years, go to the Nicolaidis YoungWings

Foundation. The foundation supports young mourners nationwide up to the age of 49 after the death of a life partner, as well as children, adolescents, and young adults after the death of one or both parents.

Numerous companies such as Four Parx, Hellmann, Loxxess, Mainblick, P3 Logistic Parks, TST, Logivest, and Logivisor have pledged their support for 2025. Even though the campaign already started on 1 July, companies can join and participate at any time until 30 September

2025. Whether running, cycling, swimming, or skating – every movement counts, and the companies decide flexibly how to reward these activities.

"Especially in economically challenging times, it is our joint responsibility as a logistics community to think of the weakest in our society," said Kuno Neumeier, CEO of the Logivest Group, who launched the initiative in 2020. "With 'Logistics in Motion' we can do exactly that and at the same time strengthen cohesion within our companies."

"We are

overwhelmed by the continuous support from logistics-affiliated companies," added Karin Neumeier, Chairwoman of the Nicolaidis YoungWings Foundation.

Every donation is urgently needed for their work and the important support of young mourners, especially in this economically difficult year.

The cheque handover will once again take place at the BVL Supply Chain CX with significant media impact. This successor event to the German Logistics Congress will be held from 22 to 24 October 2025 at the Hotel Estrel Berlin.
