HEC GmbH, a subsidiary of Team Neusta SE, and BLG Logistics Group AG & Co. KG announced on October 9 the formation of the joint venture SOI GmbH. The new company should focus, according to a press release, on the digital design of logistical processes and IT consulting for the logistics industry. In doing so, the two cooperation partners aim to pool IT expertise and solid logistics know-how in SOI GmbH.
Developing tailored IT solutions
SOI has set out to accompany companies on their path to a digitized and automated future. With
customer-specific services in the areas of process and project management, SOI offers consulting that is specifically tailored to the needs of the logistics industry, it says. In doing so, the company aims to rely on a collaborative partnership with its customers to create transparent, future-proof solutions. In implementing bespoke IT solutions, SOI works, according to the announcement, in a value chain with HEC GmbH as well as other companies of the Team Neusta Group, and can draw on a wide spectrum of IT and technology competencies.
The founding of SOI GmbH is
the result of a long-term, jointly developed initiative by BLG and HEC, according to the cooperation partners. From the outset, the goal had been to strategically bundle IT competence and logistics know-how – with SOI GmbH this vision is now becoming reality.
According to the announcement, the management of SOI GmbH will be headed by Heiko Müller (HEC GmbH) and Marc Bodenstab (BLG Logistics Group). Both bring extensive expertise in IT and logistics and will contribute it specifically to decisively advance the digital transformation of the logistics industry.
