The Dutch electronics retailer Coolblue is expanding its presence in Germany and will open its first logistics center in Baden-Württemberg at the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2025. With the 2,258 square meter depot in Tamm near Stuttgart, Coolblue is expanding its own next-day delivery and installation service for large household appliances and televisions. From fall 2025, the Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, and Heilbronn metropolitan areas will be directly served by Coolblue. Smaller electronic items are already being delivered nationwide via the shipping partner DHL, according to the press release of August 7, 2025.
Expansion
to Southern Germany
The new logistics center on Frankfurter Straße in Tamm is intended to open up another large catchment area for Coolblue with its in-house delivery service for large household appliances. From the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2025, around five million people in the Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, and Heilbronn metropolitan areas will be able to receive white goods and televisions with "CoolblueLiefert" at the preferred date on the next working day – including installation and free disposal of old devices. After ordering, Coolblue informs its customers via the online shop or the
app about a planned time window of one hour and announces the arrival 15 minutes in advance via phone call. This way, they can plan the delivery precisely. Coolblue employees will, upon request, take care of the installation of the new device and ensure that it functions flawlessly. Packaging waste and old devices are also taken away free of charge and disposed of properly.
