On Logistics Day 2025, April 10, 114 companies, organizations, and institutes from the logistics sector opened their doors. As part of 103 events offered predominantly in Germany, but also in Ireland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, and Ukraine, attendees were able to experience the diversity of the logistics industry live, both on-site and online, free of charge. In total, Logistics Day attracted 2,050 participants. These figures were recently reported by the organizers of the Europe-wide action day, the two agencies specialized

in logistics communication, Mainblick and Teamtosse.

Highlights of this year’s event included tours of various logistics and distribution centers of Amazon, behind-the-scenes insights at the Andreas Schmid Group, and a bus tour through the Duisburg port. At the career orientation event "From Clicking to Ringing" in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss, students had the opportunity to learn about career prospects in logistics and gain insights into job profiles.

There was also much to discover online: In a webinar, Inform GmbH demonstrated using company

examples how smart technologies can improve delivery capabilities, reduce unnecessary costs, and make processes more transparent, efficient, and resilient.

Interaction of Humans and Technology

"This year's Logistics Day was a complete success," summarized Lars Krause, Regional Director Customer Fulfillment in the German Amazon network. At numerous Amazon logistics locations across Germany, they provided over 300 visitors and numerous media representatives with an exciting insight into the world of modern logistics. "Participants were particularly impressed by the interaction between our dedicated employees

and innovative technologies — whether in automated warehousing, intelligent transport control, or efficient last-mile delivery," said Kraus. "These insights have shown why logistics is one of the most exciting industries of the future and what diverse career opportunities it holds."

The online retailer Amazon not only facilitated tours through its logistics and distribution centers in 2025 but also supported the action day for the fourth consecutive time as a premium partner.

The next Logistics Day will take place on April 16,
