WSW Software GmbH installed and customized the SAP-based, predefined KPI package "YODA Liefertreue SD" at the sealing provider Wallstabe & Schneider GmbH & Co. KG within three months. This is according to a press release from the software specialist.
Optimizing the Supply Chain
The KPI package, which according to the provider integrates seamlessly and securely into the company's SAP S/4HANA system, has been established as an important tool to optimize delivery and quantity reliability according to the On-Time-in-Full concept, thus improving the planning and control of the internal supply chain.
On average, Wallstabe & Schneider was able to increase delivery reliability by 16 percent with the help of YODA Liefertreue SD, according to the report.
The VDA-compliant determination of delivery reliability and thus the assessment of logistical delivery performance is an important indicator of the reliability and efficiency of internal supply chain processes and is therefore considered a business-critical factor. Moreover, own delivery reliability is an essential component of the Balanced Scorecard, where the manufacturer of precision seals consolidates all key figures (KPIs) relevant to the efficient control of business
activities.
YODA Liefertreue SD provides current information and KPIs on delivery reliability, which were previously complex and resource-intensive to collect, "out of the box" and therefore almost at the push of a button, says WSW. Users can therefore instantly see the status of delivery performance. In the event of fluctuations or deterioration, the causes can be quickly identified through a drill-down analysis. For example, it can be determined whether delivery reliability is affected by specific materials or material groups or by issues in production or shipping. Recommendations for action to
improve delivery reliability can be derived promptly from this.
The fact that delivery reliability no longer has to be manually determined but is available at a click means a time saving for the provider of precision seals, given around 3,500 delivery schedules managed in SAP S/4HANA and around 1,000 delivery calls per day.
