The project developer and owner Schewe Immobilien has successfully completed construction work on its logistics hall in Dötlingen, Lower Saxony. The property in the "Hockensberg" industrial area comprises a total usable area of 11,085 square meters, divided into 9,985 square meters of logistics space, approximately 600 square meters of mezzanine space, and approximately 300 square meters of office space, according to Schewe.

The logistics center has direct access to the B213 federal

highway, and the A1 motorway can be reached in three minutes by car. There are also logistical connections to the seaports of Wilhelmshaven, Bremerhaven, and Hamburg, as well as to the freight centers in Bremen and Emsland, and the airports in Bremen and Hamburg.

The building was constructed according to the KfW-40 standard and offers facilities for various logistics and commercial uses. The developer expects the DGNB Platinum certification (German Sustainable Building

Council) shortly. The project was constructed by the general contractor Goldbeck, accompanied by Tricer-Projekt.

A heat pump and a photovoltaic system on the roof serve the energy supply. Large light fields ensure a high level of natural light enters the hall. Other sustainability measures include a special film seal according to water hazard class 3, charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, and the ability to safely store lithium-ion batteries. The landscaping work around

the building is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.

For the logistics and office building in Dötlingen, Schewe Immobilien is currently in discussions but remains open to suitable rental prospects. According to the developer, the property offers "ideal conditions for companies looking for a new location in the economically strong environment of the Northwest metropolitan region" due to its facilities, flexible usage options, and convenient location on the A1 motorway.
