As part of the transport logistic 2025, which is still taking place until June 5 at the exhibition grounds in Munich, members of the Bundesvereinigung Logistik e.V. (BVL) held regular board elections. Newly elected to the committee were:

  • Ralf Busche, Senior Vice President European Site Logistics Operations, BASF, was already a member of the BVL advisory board
  • Felix Fiege, Managing Partner, FIEGE, was already a member of the BVL advisory board
  • Dr. Arne Flemming, Senior Vice President Corporate Supply Chain and Global Logistics Services, Bosch
  • Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alice Kirchheim, Professor, Technical University of Dortmund and Head of Institute, Fraunhofer IML
  • Matthias Magnor, Chairman of the Board, BLG Logistics

Unanimously re-elected for a new term

were:

  • Alexander Doll, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Independent Board Member, Arriva Group, Investor, TradeLink
  • Andreas Reutter, President Global Automotive, Stanley Engineered Fastening Tucker GmbH
  • Tim Scharwath, CEO DHL Global Forwarding, Freight, Deutsche Post AG as well as
  • Stephan Wohler, Member of the Board, Edeka Minden-Hannover Stiftung & Co. KG
  • (as treasurer part of the BVL executive committee)

Stepping down from the BVL board as part of the regular rotation are:

  • Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Furmans, Head of Institute for Material Handling and Logistics Systems, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT
