The global real estate service provider CBRE appoints Kai F. Oulds as Head of Industrial & Logistics Germany. With this newly created position, the company aims, according to its own statements, to ensure closer integration of leasing and investment business in the Industrial & Logistics segment, so that Oulds centrally coordinates the services in this segment and the management of overarching customer concerns. This is according to a press release from the real estate service provider from mid-July.
Oulds has been with CBRE since 2004 and was previously active as Head of Logistics Investments. With his many years of experience in the national and international logistics
real estate market, he brings extensive market knowledge and a broad network to his new role.
With the company since 2007
His previous position as Head of Logistics Investments will be taken over by Tom Franke, who has been with CBRE since 2007. After several years in the Valuation area, Franke switched to the logistics investment business in 2016. There he managed numerous transactions and became a recognized expert in the segment.
Armin Herrenschneider, previously Co-Head of the Industrial & Logistics Leasing business, will become Head of Industrial & Logistics Brownfield Solutions. This makes Herrenschneider, who has been with CBRE for 20 years, the central contact
for all brownfield-related issues in Germany. Rainer Koepke will continue to lead the leasing business of the Industrial & Logistics segment in the same function.
“With the new leadership role in the Industrial & Logistics area, we are laying the foundation for even closer integration of investment and leasing,” says Kai Mende, CEO of CBRE Germany. “We are consciously relying on experienced leaders from within our own ranks who have known the market and our customers for many years.”
“The new role promotes cross-departmental collaboration within the Industrial & Logistics segment and allows us to advise and support our clients even more purposefully,” says Kai F.
Oulds. “In other markets, such as in France and the Netherlands, this integrated approach has already proven successful.” Oulds further adds: “I am pleased to have an extremely experienced and dedicated successor on board with Tom Franke, with whom I have been working very closely and successfully for many years now. Armin Herrenschneider – also a CBRE veteran – will lead the increasingly important brownfield business nationwide. Rainer Koepke, who has been at the helm of CBRE's Industrial & Logistics Leasing Team for ten extraordinarily successful years, will continue to lead it and strategically and expansively drive CBRE as a market leader in close collaboration with
