In the meeting of the supervisory board of Häfen und Güterverkehr Köln AG (HGK) on May 26, 2025, it was decided by a clear majority to initiate all necessary steps for the prompt appointment of Steffen Bauer, CEO of HGK Shipping GmbH, as the future CEO of HGK AG.
This was announced by HGK in a press release at the end of May. The current CEO of HGK AG, Uwe Wedig, will leave the company on September 30, 2025, for age-related reasons.
In the same meeting, Susana dos Santos Herrmann announced her resignation as chairwoman of the HGK
supervisory board. Deputy chairman of the supervisory board Dirk Michel will temporarily assume the leadership of the committee.
