Nicolai Hastedt will join the German Logistics Association (BVL) e.V. as the commercial managing director on October 1, 2025, and will manage the office together and equally with Christoph Meyer. This was announced by the BVL in Bremen on July 24 to the press.
The focus of his
work will be in the area of "Services," particularly finance, as well as in association work including communication. Christoph Meyer will continue to be responsible for content, events such as the BVL Supply Chain CX, as well as sales, marketing, and seminars.
Nicolai Hastedt is 54 years old.
He is joining the BVL from the Hans Freitag Group (Verdener Keksfabrik). At the Hans Freitag Group, he has held the position of commercial director with a focus on corporate development since the end of 2021. Previously, the business graduate was the commercial director at the Zeaborn Group
(shipping industry) for nearly seven years, a senior consultant at Fides Management Consulting, as well as working in business intelligence at ArcelorMittal and as a controlling specialist at Sparkasse Bremen.
