On July 15, the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Post AG appointed Oscar de Bok as Chief Executive Officer of DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. De Bok, a member of the Group Board since 2019 and currently CEO of DHL Supply Chain, succeeds Tim Scharwath, who is retiring. The Supervisory Board has appointed Hendrik Venter, currently responsible for DHL Supply Chain in Continental Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as Chief Executive Officer of DHL Supply Chain and as a member of the Board of the DHL Group. The changes will take effect on August 16, 2025.

Under his leadership, the division has modernized its IT infrastructure, accelerated digitization, and continuously improved its customer services and solutions," said Katrin Suder, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the DHL Group. "We are pleased that Oscar de Bok will take over the leadership of the Global Forwarding, Freight division. His excellent track record as CEO of our DHL Supply Chain division, combined with his extensive understanding of our business, makes him an ideal candidate to accelerate sustainable growth in our Forwarding and Freight business. We are also pleased to have found a first-class successor for Oscar de Bok in Hendrik Venter, who
has already successfully managed the business of DHL Supply Chain in various markets and regions. We wish both of them much success," she added.

Oscar de Bok has been working for the DHL Group since 1999 and has been responsible as Managing Director of DHL Supply Chain for
various countries and regions, including Italy, the Nordic countries, and Asia. In October 2019, he was appointed CEO of DHL Supply Chain. He has been appointed CEO of Global Forwarding, Freight until August 2030.
More than 15 years of experience
Hendrik Venter can look back on more than 15 years of experience in senior leadership positions at DHL Supply Chain. In October 2019, he took on the role of CEO of DHL Supply Chain in Continental Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In this position, he was responsible for the business of DHL Supply Chain in 25 different countries and markets, with a focus on strengthening and expanding growth in the region and implementing standardization processes.
