On October 1, 2025, the long-time head of development, Thomas Lagally, has been appointed to the Executive Board of Euro-Log AG, the IT services provider known for its supply-chain software. From January 1, 2026, he will then replace Jörg Fürbacher on the Executive Board, as the logistics IT company recently announced at its headquarters in Hallbergmoos near Munich.
Fürbacher had been at the helm of the IT service
provider since 2002, which, according to the company, with 130 employees, was able to increase its revenue by 50 percent in the last five years up to 2024. Alongside him stood development chief Lagally, who for 25 years has shaped the system architecture. In 2024, Euro-Log together with its customer Bosch won the VDA Logistics Award for the “Next Generation Transport Management,” a project for the resilient control

Thomas Lagally is known at Euro-Log AG, according to the company, like hardly anyone else. As development chief, he was responsible for numerous innovations at Euro-Log, most recently the productive deployment of artificial intelligence in transport and load equipment management. For several years, Lagally had been prepared as Fürbacher's deputy to assume the board duties.
Jörg Fürbacher will, according to Euro-Log, in
2026 accompany the further development of the SCM solutions of the software service provider as a “Strategic Advisor.”
Euro-Log AG was founded in 1997 as a management buy-out from the joint venture of Deutsche Telekom, France Télécom and Digital Equipment. Since then, the IT service provider has been developing on its own SCM platform software for global tracking solutions as well as for procurement, transport and container management.
