DHL Supply Chain has appointed Rainer Haag as CEO for the Europe region. The company announced this in a press release dated August 19, 2025. Haag will therefore take responsibility for 16 Central European markets and reports directly to Hendrik Venter, CEO of DHL Supply Chain and a member of the DHL Group's Executive Board.

In his new role, Haag will lead markets that, according to the company, have shown growth in recent years. He is
to drive the expansion of the business units and further develop logistics solutions for customers.

Haag began in 2010 at DHL Group as Director Operations in Spain. There followed leadership roles as Managing Director Life Sciences & Healthcare Germany, Managing Director DHL Supply Chain Germany & Alps, and most recently as CEO Germany & Alps. At the Florstadt site near Frankfurt he was responsible for
expanding the DHL Life Sciences & Healthcare hub, which today is part of the global Health Logistics Network.
Another appointment
As part of the reassignments, Katrin Hölter takes on the role of CEO DHL Supply Chain Germany & Alps. She was previously Chief Operations Officer DHL Supply Chain EMEA and since 2022 responsible for optimizing operational processes and ensuring stable services in the region. Hölter has been with DHL since 2003 and has significantly shaped the company’s “Safety First”
