Ivoflow, a Koblenz-based provider of procurement intelligence solutions for direct purchasing, and IntegrityNext, the cloud-based platform for sustainable supply chains, are cooperating in the area of ESG performance. The two companies announced this in May.

According to a press release, Ivoflow focuses on the automatic identification of savings potential to reduce costs in the direct purchasing of manufacturing companies. Through the integration of ESG data from IntegrityNext, customers now have direct access to all relevant ESG information of their suppliers to pursue their sustainability goals more effectively.

“The core function of our software is to automatically identify savings potentials and risks. For this,

we combine internal ERP data with external market data to provide a comprehensive overview of purchasing data and make the impact of market events on the purchasing organization understandable so that appropriate measures can be taken,” explains Nicolas Neubauer, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Ivoflow. “In view of the increasing legal requirements for supply chains, ESG criteria must also be increasingly included in purchasing decisions.”

Sustainability Metrics in Real-Time

The interface to IntegrityNext is intended to enable Ivoflow users to visualize all relevant sustainability metrics of their suppliers in real-time on a single dashboard. By integrating this data with internal purchasing data, users

could effortlessly perform supplier evaluations for individual locations, product groups, or countries, set targets, and simultaneously identify trends and deviations early on, say the two providers.

When a user recognizes in the ESG dashboard that a supplier has a critical rating, they can communicate with them through the IntegrityNext tool and take appropriate measures to mitigate the risk. Users can also access further information about the supplier, such as certificates, in IntegrityNext.

Katrin Ostheimer, Head of Partner Management at IntegrityNext:

“We are continuously expanding our partner network with leading software providers and integration partners to integrate our platform and data seamlessly into existing

IT systems where they are needed. This helps to avoid data silos, and sustainability becomes firmly anchored in business processes. Integrating sustainability metrics into spend analytics enables responsible purchasing decisions—this is exactly where Ivoflow ideally complements our partner network.”

In addition to the interface to IntegrityNext, the Ivoflow software also has interfaces to other technology partners, including the raw material database Matflixx. Neubauer: “We want to offer our customers a customized product. That's why we stay close to the market, listen to the challenges of the industry, and ensure that we incorporate the appropriate solutions and functions into the core product—always considering scalability.”
