Thomas Schledorn will become a new member of the Executive Board of the Andreas Schmid Group. From January 12, 2026, he will assume operational responsibility within the corporate group. The Gersthofen-based logistics service provider announced this in a press release. According to the release, the manager will succeed Alessandro Cacciola, who will step down from the Executive Board of the Andreas Schmid Group in 2026 to devote himself to new

tasks for personal reasons. In addition, Cacciola will remain with the company for a transition period as a member of the Supervisory Board, thereby continuing to contribute his experience and expertise to the development of the company.

Since 2019, Cacciola has led the service provider. His tenure as CEO, according to the Andreas Schmid Group, stands for progress, stability and the successful transformation of the group.

The 38-year-old Schledorn brings

international experience from various leadership roles. After stints at DB Schenker, including overall responsibility for the Business Development function as well as the strategic development of European land transport, Thomas Schledorn, at Cargo-Partner, served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and was responsible for the integration into the Nippon Express Group and the further development of European road freight.

"With Thomas Schledorn we are gaining an experienced and inspiring manager who

will enrich our growth strategy with new impulses and an international perspective. We are very much looking forward to the collaboration," said Alfred Kolb, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Andreas Schmid Group.

Starting in 2026, the Executive Board of the Andreas Schmid Group will continue the successful development of the company in a new composition with Thomas Schledorn (Operational Responsibility), Dr. Claudia Ambrosy (Finance) and Dr. Matthias Marquart
