Mobility provider Hylane is expanding its rental offering of emission-free vehicles for heavy road freight transport. In the future, the provider's fleet will include not only trucks with fuel cell drives (hydrogen) but also those that are battery-electric, the provider announced. Hylane sees the expansion

as an important next step to more comprehensively meet customer needs and further expand its position as an emission-free commercial vehicle rental company.

Hylane plans to make the first battery-electric trucks available to interested customers as early as this year. This could soon allow companies

to rent vehicles such as the "eActros 600" from Daimler Truck, it states. According to the provider, the vehicles will be available under the same comprehensive rental model as Hylane's fuel cell trucks. To best support customers in their use, Hylane is working on partnerships

with charging park operators.
