Porsche AG is continuing the long-term planned generational change on the executive board. As the Stuttgart-based company announced in a press release in May, Joachim Scharnagl (49) will take over the Procurement division on August 19 from Barbara Frenkel (62). At the same time, Vera Schalwig (45) will succeed Andreas Haffner (59) as Head of Human Resources and Social Affairs. Scharnagl is currently Head of Procurement for New Vehicle Projects and Supplier Management,

while Schalwig is currently responsible for Human Resources at Porsche AG's headquarters in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.

Additionally, on July 1, Dr. Michael Steiner (60) will take on the role of Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board. He has been a member of the Executive Board for Research and Development since 2016. In this context, he is relinquishing his leadership role in Group Development within the Volkswagen Group.
