The Norwegian auto-ID provider Lexit Group has acquired the Hamburg-based Circlon, a specialist for mobile data capture in the sectors of transport, logistics and production. Circlon announced this in a press release at the beginning of September. With the acquisition, Lexit aims, according to its own statements, to expand its European market presence in the long term and to jointly develop process-automation solutions for production, warehousing, logistics
and trade.
Taner Taneri, CEO of Circlon Group, says:
“We are pleased to become part of the Lexit Group and to jointly create new opportunities for our customers and employees. As part of a larger organization we can sustainably push our business forward and increase our corporate value.”
So far, the Lexit Group has been active mainly in Scandinavia. Through its subsidiaries Lexit Norway, Lexit Denmark, Lexit
Sweden, Idnet and Informa the group serves there companies in production, trade and logistics. With the acquisition of Circlon the Lexit Group wants not only to expand its portfolio but also gain access to a diverse customer base – including well-known companies such as Kühne + Nagel, Edeka, Rewe and Hermes.
“Innovation is a central value of both companies. We continuously develop new technologies and refine our
solutions to best support the customers,” explains Sjur Skjæveland, CEO of the Lexit Group. “Our partnership opens up the opportunity to create even greater value. By combining our experience and competence with Circlon's local expertise and strong market position, we have the unique chance to develop further together,” Skjæveland continues.
The integration of Circlon into the Lexit Group's business activities will take place gradually in autumn 2025.
