In view of increased business volume and to support its new customers, Log'S is relying on its intralogistics partner Transitic to adapt and expand the automated system at its 36,000 square meter site in Wattrelos, northern France. According to a statement from June 18, Transitic expanded the existing systems and

facilities by integrating several key components:

  • An automatic carton sealer capable of adjusting the package height according to the contents.
  • A VAS area (Value Added Services) for individual processing of orders according to customer requirements.
  • Control scanners and an automatic labeler in the shipping area to ensure traceability and compliance
  • of shipments.
  • Five new additional exits at the sorting switch in the shipping area.

The entire system is controlled and monitored via the Open WCS software suite. This was adapted due to the integration of additional customers.

"Thanks to the flexibility of the systems offered by Transitic, we were able

to quickly adapt our processes to the goals and requirements of our customers by doubling our processing capacity in the shipping area," said Benjamin Laffineur, Innovation Manager at Log'S.
