The Cargo Trans Logistik AG (CTL) concluded the fiscal year 2024 with significant growth. Despite challenging market conditions, the network not only increased its revenue but also continued to strategically develop its structure. The foundation for this was new international collaborations, increased transport volume, and a stronger focus on digitalization.

According to Cargo Trans Logistik AG, the network comprised 200 national and international partners by the end of the year. This has given the cooperation a high network density and resilience across Europe, the company stated. The expansion of the partner network and the targeted growth of the international business had a noticeable effect on transport volumes. Compared to the

previous year, the number of parcel shipments increased slightly by one percent to 2.46 million. According to CTL, the entire transport volume was handled using the proven hub-and-spoke system.

The company was able to expand particularly in the international sector. New partners and additional routes contributed to a volume growth of over ten percent here. The introduction of new products also contributed to the positive development. CTL cites CTL Collect as an example, which is said to be particularly powerful and has expanded the range of offerings within the network.

"In 2024, we noticeably expanded our network. Our 200 national and international partners ensure maximum network density and security across

Europe," CEO Francesco De Lauso emphasized. Another success factor is the company's own local transport in challenging regions such as Cologne or Hanover.

CTL's revenue rose by 9.1 percent to just under 161 million euros in the reporting year. In addition to the usual tariff adjustments, CTL sees the strategic expansion of the service portfolio as the main reason for the increase. The company refers to offerings that go beyond pure network services and are gaining increasing importance.

A central project last year was the founding of Softward GmbH. With the in-house IT service provider, CTL aims to further advance the digitalization of network processes. The basis for this is

the network's operating software, which has been fully taken over from the previous provider and transferred to the AG. In the future, Softward is expected to develop and implement innovative solutions for the entire partner network.

Despite the continued tense situation in the transport sector, the company remains optimistic.

"At CTL, we are actively shaping the change. Together with our partners, we are preparing for upcoming challenges with competence, efficiency, and reliability," said De Lauso.

For the coming years, CTL cites the further expansion of international presence, the introduction of applications with artificial intelligence, and the development of industry-specific solutions as strategic focal points. These goals are accompanied by a
