PC Logistics was founded in 2014 and is based in Dębica in southern Poland. The company operates a fleet of nearly 100 trucks of various brands, including DAF trucks, and has now signed a MultiSupport repair and maintenance contract for a new generation DAF XG 480.
The vehicle is part of an order for 15 identical tractor units and will be used for transporting liquid raw materials in tank containers
in Western Europe.
According to the manufacturer, this is the 300,000th such contract, which aims to guarantee maximum vehicle uptime and simplify maintenance management and administration. PC Logistics specializes in long-haul transportation and has distribution centers in twelve European countries.
Maintenance Planning and Management
"DAF MultiSupport provides us with a clear view of the total costs while minimizing workshop bills," said Konrad Wójtowicz, CEO of PC Logistics.
According to Wójtowicz,
they want to benefit from maximum vehicle availability. According to the manufacturer, MultiSupport repair and maintenance contracts are tailored to the requirements of the respective company. For example, service level and contract duration can be selected individually, and the scope of the contract can also be extended to include superstructures.
The DAF partner takes care of the maintenance planning and management. Transport companies are expected to receive an optimally maintained
fleet and maximum vehicle availability at a fixed price per kilometer, explains DAF Trucks.
Four service packages are offered - from preventive maintenance to all repair and maintenance services. PC Logistics has chosen a five-year MultiSupport Full Care contract, it is said.
According to Mike Hoefeijzers, Director of Commercial Services at DAF Trucks, they want to help customers reduce the number of invoices and ensure the availability of their trucks.
