With a new air freight product, DHL Aviation aims to offer customers the opportunity to prioritize shipments. The newly launched Xcelerate service is said to provide the fastest available shipping options with guaranteed capacity and shorter transit times.
Flexible and easily accessible
Additionally, the product
allows for the acceptance of last-minute freight with immediate booking confirmation – for customers seeking expedited logistics solutions.
According to Paul Ennis, VP of Global Operations at DHL Aviation, they want to offer the highest possible flexibility and attention to cargo with a standardized, easily
accessible service.
Prioritization possible
Xcelerate also includes prioritized release at destinations – this means that even shipments that arrive last can be picked up first, it says.
According to DHL Aviation, shipments are monitored by a customer service team from dispatch to delivery – and
customers are continuously informed via email throughout the entire process.
In line with DHL’s sustainability goals, the mandatory contribution for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is integrated, with the aim of achieving a SAF share of over 30 percent by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050.
