With the signing of the contract on May 12, 2025, the acquisition is retroactively effective from January 1, 2025, according to both companies. The Deisser Group operates in the central Neckar region in the area of container transport by truck on the first and last mile.

"With the Deisser Group, we gain a company that shares our values and our quality standards. Integrating our own

trucking assets is a logical next step for us to the benefit of our customers." — Christopher Beplat, Managing Director Eurogate Intermodal

The aim of the acquisition is to strengthen its own position in combined rail and road transport. At the same time, the company ensures planning reliability and quality on the first and last mile, even under volatile market conditions, through the use of

its own assets.

For the Deisser Group, the acquisition marks a stable and long-term oriented succession solution. It is to remain as an independent company and continue to operate under its name and as a neutral service provider. At the same time, Eugen Deisser will remain as managing director and actively accompany the transition process, it is said. The entire workforce will be retained and

all existing contracts will remain fully valid.

Furthermore, EGIM places importance on continuing the customer relationships of the Deisser Group. "25 years ago I founded the Deisser Group – EGIM was one of our first customers. Today, the circle closes. I am pleased to hand over the company into trustworthy hands and to personally shape the next steps." — Eugen Deisser, Managing Director of the
