In close proximity to Frankfurt Airport in the Taubengrund industrial park, a new large-scale logistics property is planned. The project is being developed in a joint venture between Fraport Immobilienservice und -entwicklungs GmbH & Co. KG and MB Park Deutschland GmbH.

According to the information, the new building named LogiSpace is already fully leased before construction starts. Both companies, it is said, want to build on their previous collaboration in the Rhine-Main region.

Flexible Use

The project is to be built on a plot

of about 48,200 square meters - by the first quarter of 2027, according to plan.

The logistics property is to be flexibly usable and will have approximately 25,230 square meters of hall and technical space on the ground floor and 3,360 square meters of mezzanine space on the first floor.

Around 3,300 square meters of office and social spaces are planned on the first and second floors. There are planned 27 ramp doors and 14 ground-level doors as well as 147 car parking spaces

and 15 truck parking spaces.

In the building, there will be a strong emphasis on very high energy efficiency; the heat pumps are to control cooling and heating in a resource-oriented manner. In addition, a large photovoltaic system will be installed and used for the building's own supply. According to the information, DGNB Gold certification is targeted.

Proximity to Frankfurt Airport

The site borders directly on Frankfurt Airport and is near CargoCity Süd and CargoCity Nord. Frankfurt Airport is one of Europe’s largest cargo

aviation hubs. Around and at the airport are located various companies, logistics firms and courier, express and parcel (KEP) service providers.

“We are very pleased that, together with Fraport, we will once again develop a future-ready and sustainable logistics location near Frankfurt Airport,” said Jonas Friederich and Jens Herbert, both managing directors of MB Park Deutschland.

According to the companies, the building permit has been applied for. Groundworks are to begin in early 2026. The execution of the construction by a general contractor has
