ID Logistics strengthens its presence in northern Germany: The internationally active logistics service provider has signed a long-term lease for around 60,000 square meters of warehouse space in the Mittelweser Park near Hanover. This is announced by the real estate investment manager BGO. The new contract is thus already ID Logistics' second lease in the under-construction logistics park, increasing the total space used by the company there to 76,000 square meters.

With the expansion, ID

Logistics positions itself in the Mittelweser Park as the largest single tenant. As early as the beginning of 2024, the company had occupied 17,000 square meters of WGK-capable space there. According to BGO, the five additional units now leased are intended to further enhance ID Logistics' logistical capabilities in the northern German region. No details about the planned use have been disclosed.

For ID Logistics, the large-scale lease is a clear commitment to the location.

The Mittelweser Park is conveniently located between Bremen and Hanover and was realized by BGO together with the Aachen-based project developer Thirteen Seven. The area is part of a sustainable new construction project, which is designed for a total area of 127,000 square meters. According to the developer, all units have been built to the highest ESG standards.

“The now third conclusion confirms the confidence of users in the region and in the quality of

the facilities,” says Jürgen Diehl, Managing Director of BGO.

ID Logistics' decision is evidence of the location's attractiveness.

Mirko Eickhoff, Managing Partner of Thirteen Seven, also points to the high demand:

“As a result, interested parties currently have only 30,000 square meters of hall space out of the total 127,000 square meters of new building space available to them.”
