In the course of Hartmann's IDS partnership, the long-standing IDS partner Noerpel SE has acquired a stake in Hartmann Systemlogistik Ibbenbüren. This is said to ensure the fast integration of the Ibbenbüren site into the IDS network. IDS Managing Directors Michael Bargl and Tim Bittner:
“With the new partners LSL-Lohmöller and Hartmann, as well as the neighboring IDS depots of Kühne + Nagel, we have succeeded in more than equivalently reoccupying
the Osnabrück depot area for both incoming and outgoing shipment volumes.”
The former DSV site in Osnabrück has already been reoccupied by LSL-Lohmöller Spedition und Logistik GmbH from Rheine and the adjacent Kühne + Nagel depots.
Hartmann International Systemlogistik GmbH & Co. KG is an independent subsidiary of Hartmann International GmbH & Co. KG from Paderborn and has been active in the Osnabrück region since 2010.
The company plans to expand
its transshipment capacities at the Ibbenbüren site from the current 2,400 square meters to up to 6,500 square meters. With 70 employees and a total area of 18,000 square meters, the site is strategically optimally connected to the A30. Andreas Hartmann, owner of the Hartmann Group in the 5th generation:
“I expect that by transitioning to the IDS network, we will significantly increase our general cargo volume and further expand the
site.
The holding of the Hartmann Group will remain with the headquarters in the general cargo cooperation Cargoline. The Hartmann Group generates a turnover of 115 million euros and employs 730 people. In addition to logistics solutions, Hartmann is also focusing on implementing direct traffic networks and strategically expanding the transshipment capacities at the Ibbenbüren location. The goal is to further increase efficiency and sustainability through improved infrastructure and shortened transport
