In the Osnabrück region, around 1,200 IDS consignments are processed daily in inbound shipments (SE), according to company information. From January 1, 2026, the core area is to be taken over by the Lohmöller freight forwarder.
According to the information, around 30 percent of the area is covered by the neighboring Kühne + Nagel depots in Bremen and Oldenburg for the Quakenbrück-Vechta-Diepholz region in the north and Bielefeld for the Espelkamp-Melle-Warendorf region in the east.
“We are pleased that we have
been able to competitively occupy the area around Osnabrück with Lohmöller and the long-standing IDS partner Kühne + Nagel. The SE volume from the IDS network will be correspondingly split between the partners,” explains IDS Managing Director Tim Bittner.
