The L.I.T. Group intends, according to its own statements, to intensify its focus on the Turkish market. Andreas Janetzko, Managing Director of L.I.T. Air & Sea:
"Turkey is for us a central bridgehead between Europe and Asia. It connects global trade flows and is a decisive access to new markets, both for our customers and for our own network. We have been active in the country for about a year and
are expanding our presence step by step. With our complete portfolio we show that we can map the entire supply chain from a single source: from transport through contract logistics to value-added services."
Turkey as Growth Market and Hub
The Turkish economy is growing and increasingly investing in infrastructure and industrial production, it continues. For L.I.T., the market thus offers the possibility to expand existing European freight traffic and to develop
new routes to neighboring regions. Janetzko:
"We see great potential in the region, especially in international road freight transport and in intermodal solutions."
Expanding partnerships
In addition to the operational objectives, one wants to further establish itself in the Turkish market and position as a reliable partner. This is also served by participating as an exhibitor at Logitrans from 19 to 21 November in Istanbul. Mehmet Ozyilmaz, Managing Director of L.I.T.
Air & Sea in Turkey:
"The goal is to deepen local cooperations and to unlock new business opportunities in neighboring markets."
With the motto „together for success“ one emphasizes that sustainable growth is only possible in stable partnerships. Ozyilmaz:
"Especially in a region that is economically rapidly growing and at the same time geopolitically sensitive, reliable collaboration is needed. Our goal is to build durable, resilient supply chains with our partners."
