The software office Zauner has expanded its tachograph data software Zaarc.Next with a comprehensive legal service that specifically benefits fleet managers in road freight transport. Users of the software receive free access to initial legal consultation as part of their maintenance contract.

This legal consultation covers a wide range of legal areas relevant to logistics companies – from road haulage to driver personnel law to traffic criminal law. The service is an integral part of the software, Zauner announces. It is intended

to help fleet managers identify and minimize legal risks early on.

Legal proceedings with uncertain outcomes, complicated regulations, and high fines often pose significant burdens for transport and shipping companies.

“That is why we provide lawyer assistance precisely here,” explains Heribert Ulbing, Sales Director at Zauner.

The software provider offers users of Zaarc.Next a direct line to legal expertise in collaboration with experienced lawyer Philippe Rabenschlag LL.M.Eur., specifically tailored to the requirements in goods and road transport. The lawyer assists customers with

all questions regarding traffic law, administrative law, driver personnel law, and traffic criminal law.

The service includes both general legal questions related to the field and individual issues. Fleet managers can receive legal consultation in virtual office hours. The range covers liability issues, cabotage regulations, violations of driving time limits, or transport requirements.

“Our customers always receive a free initial consultation. If further support is needed, this can result in a mandate,” Ulbing continues.

This legal consultation can be accessed directly from

the software via an online form. The inquiries go directly to Rabenschlag, who, as a recognized expert, knows numerous relevant institutions and participates in committees such as the EU Tachograph Forum.

In addition to direct legal consultation, Zauner offers with Zaarc.Next an always-available FAQ list on traffic, transport, and labor law, which provides users with a solid legal knowledge base. The company aims to not only support its customers in data processing but also specifically enhance their legal certainty in daily operations.
