On August 1, 2025, seven new apprentices and dual students began their careers at LIS Logistische Informationssysteme GmbH in Greven. According to the company, the newcomers include three prospective IT system management clerks, two future IT specialists for system integration, one apprentice, and one dual student specializing in IT application development.
The software provider currently employs a total of 20 apprentices and dual students. According to the company, which is based in Westphalia, it has been specifically training young professionals for several years to meet long-term staffing needs. The majority of the trainees are taken on in a regular employment relationship after successfully completing their training.

Structured Entry into the Company
On the first day of training, the new employees were greeted with a structured introduction program. According to LIS, this included a welcome by the management, an introduction to the company, and a site tour in Greven. Subsequently, the new apprentices familiarized themselves with their workplaces and departments. In doing so, they also met their respective teams.
