MBS Logistics AG, the Swiss branch of the international MBS Logistics Group headquartered in Cologne, announced today, Wednesday, the acquisition of Gerhard Wegmüller GmbH based in Zurich. The acquisition agreement is retroactively effective as of January 1, 2025.
With the strategic acquisition, the aim is to expand the company's own service portfolio in Switzerland and internationally, according to the company. Additionally, the company intends to consistently continue the strategy of targeted expansion and strengthening of specialized business
areas and to build upon the Zurich location established in June 2023.
Emergency Logistics and AerospaceThe freight forwarding company Gerhard Wegmüller specializes in logistics solutions in the fields of aviation and aerospace, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, as well as complex special transports. A particular focus is on time-critical spare parts logistics for aircraft (Aircraft on Ground / AOG) and 24/7 emergency logistics.
The MBS Group is already active in the field of emergency logistics under the brand Anytime,
